Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-30
Container Duck is in beta. This document is written in plain language and is not a substitute for legal advice.
1. What Container Duck is
Container Duck is a platform that deploys applications for you on Kubernetes. You can install open source apps from our catalog or deploy your own apps from a GitHub repository. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You sign up with an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information. New accounts may need to be approved before they can be used.
3. Your data and your code
You own your code, your data and the apps you deploy. You give us only the permission we need to run them for you: to store, build, run, back up and serve them. We do not claim any rights over them.
4. Acceptable use
Hosted apps run code that you provide, on shared infrastructure. You agree not to:
- Run cryptocurrency miners or other workloads whose main purpose is to burn compute.
- Host or distribute illegal content, malware, phishing pages or spam.
- Attack, scan or disrupt other users, our platform, or third parties.
- Use the service to break the law or someone else's rights.
- Try to escape your project's isolation or access other users' projects.
We may suspend or remove apps or accounts that break these rules or put the platform or other users at risk.
5. Beta service, no guarantees
Container Duck is a beta product and is provided as is and as available. There is no uptime commitment (SLA). The service can change, break or go down, and data can be lost despite our backups. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
6. Deleting and ending
You can delete your projects and apps at any time from the dashboard. You can stop using the service whenever you want. We may end or restrict the service for you if you break these terms. Details on what we keep and for how long are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
8. Governing law
The service is hosted in Germany, in the European Union. Mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you still apply.
